After 3 Years, The Struggles Of Stefan Is Finished!

I started The Struggles Of Stefan back in August of 2019. It was my first exposure to game dev, but I knew I had a story I wanted to share with the world. Even being a kid, I used to draw video games on a piece of paper with arrows pointing to where the player could go, and now I had  a piece of  software at the tips of my fingers to create these games. It's opened a creative avenue  in my life that I really enjoy.

Being a solo developer made it pretty challenging over the last few years though, as I was responsible for the scripting, music, storyline, illustrating, modelling, level layout, dialogue, and voice acting. Also, understanding the works of Unity as a game engine, too.  But this has been a great adventure for me, and a real treat over the last 3 years. I really appreciate all the feedback I can get on this game! It's going to help me hone in on what I have done in this game to either continue doing it in the future, or change gears in a different direction to continue to grow as a developer, so I'd love to hear what you think of the game. The biggest  goal I've had for it  has been that I hope the storyline can resonate with the individual. It's why I've decided to make this game free and available on as many platforms as I can right now (and potentially in the future).

So now that my 3 year effort is done, what's next for me ? Well, I realize that having a game out on numerous  platform for a long period of time involves some eventual tech scope updates to the game  and perhaps some enhancements along the way. Aside from that,  I'm going to continue working on game development as a hobby, but I don't want to set strict deadlines to deliverables like I did this game. I tend to have a one track mind, so it was difficult for me to do something like  vacation and thoroughly take it all in with an incompletion in the back of my mind.  I'm going to continue to make many music related videos on my main YouTube channel, but also hoping to continue expanding my Pharos Fables channel,   as well as my gaming and vlog ones too.    I also have recently finished sharing the soundtrack to The Struggles Of Stefan which I consider my 3rd album release under my Pharos Fables moniker and can be found on my Bandcamp, Steam, main YouTube channel, and my Pharos Fables channel (mentioned above).

Take good care of yourself. Feel free to follow me on YouTube if you like my content, and thanks for considering my game.

God  bless,

Clint
